Don’t you think Climate Crisis should be given the same attention as Corona pandemic ?

  • 4

#AfterRona , Climate Change will take over and since we don’t give Climate Crisis the attention it deserves, we may never say bye to masks. We are all aware of how staying inside for humans has slowed earth to heal ??

Im beginning to think that the climate crisis in the world is more about power and less about attention. Very few people have seen the actual impact of climate change and all we can do for now is speculate and use science to measure trends. The people seated on big chairs are the ones we should direct all this campaign too. Unless it’s all about noise without impact.

Yes it should. They say “little things” matter… and people’s view on environmental conservation is full of ignorance. I believe it should really be given high attention and above all our communities need to be taught on the measures and the essense of environmental conservation.

Climate Change deserves even more attention than Coronavirus because it does not have a vaccine and we can not reverse its impact once it happens. A good example is Global Warming, we are still ignorant of CFC’s and guzzling cars.

Brilliant. Thanks for the response and will you allow me use it to emphasize a point on other social media platforms?

The thing people don’t get is in few years time Climate change will be irreversible. Actually they know about it but are ignorant. Sad

Humans have a syndrome of urgency and the instant culture is a result of that syndrome where we want everything instantly.

As a result, we tend to give our attention to instant things that we can see and experience. That was why corona has got the attention of the whole world in just a few months while climate change issues like Global Warming have not been addressed for years.

It is just the sad reality. People would rather die slowly from something they don’t see than die instantly from what they can see and experience.
