The end is not always about superficial achievements. Sometimes, it is about the intangible quality of life that can only be seen and touched by your soul. It is that intrinsic feeling you get inside but cant break it down into words or limit it to a specific experience. It is the total sum of ups and downs that dare to define who you are.
In a superficial world, that feeling doesn’t always count. We live in a sight and sound world: people want to see and hear or touch and smell. Anything beyond the common sense literary doesn’t make sense. This forces us to translate and water down our life into something “sensible”. Everything we do is now defined by measurable results.
This Saturday, we want to hear your story. Come and share with us the journey of your life. How 2016 has impacted you, the lessons you have learned and how you plan to start the next year. It will be a soulful networking session laced with smooth poetry and holiday tunes from you favorite musicians.
We will be deconstructing a successful year, identifying the basic pieces that stand out. We will engage, share and answer each others questions: How do we calculate the quality of life? Are we all on a similar course or does everyone have to curve out their own niche? When do we buckle up for the last laps? Can we relay?
Most of these questions are usually answered on the track of life. That’s actually what makes life adventurous and interesting. The uncertainty, the surprises, the valleys… Join us as we serve this and more during the last Fatuma’s Voice session for 2016!
