Join us at PAWA 254 this Saturday for#FatumasVoiceNairobi as we host Brenda Wanjiru!

The glow on her face hides the strain of the uncountable sore nights she went through when her life seemed to have halted. Heavy with child, seemingly insurmountable pressure, and a bleak future as among the hurdles staring her right in the face, Brenda Wanjiru, who now some regard as the ‘hottest’ cop in Kenya, overcame her nightmares, beating all odds with might and gusto. It’s not easy being a woman anywhere in the world.

To be a young single mother at a tender age does not pass for a sunny festival. You have to climb through valleys, more so if the father of your child does not support you. The stories of dead beat fathers have daunted many helpless women who have had to sail through remarkable challenges to raise their children. Women with faint or no support systems.

Brenda Wanjiru comes to Fatuma’s Voice to share her story; the situations she found herself in, the wisdoms she has gathered over time, her advice to young men and women who continue to find themselves in situations such as the one she was in some years back, her motivation to become a policewoman, the value of owning up to responsibilities and her vision for the future.

Committed to bringing you to a realization of your self worth and count as a human being, we welcome you to spend Saturday evening with us, even as we enjoy poetry and music over this conversation. Come with family and friends. It’s storytime.

Now I know what this technique is called. Tilt-shift that is. It’s more of having a selective focus. Very nice! I’m new in photography and I’m really enjoying every single detail I’m learning every day. Thanks.
