We are equal. We are just not the same. We are wired differently. Physically and emotionally. Given this, we tend to handle issues differently. Men like to rely on facts, women prefer to connect with the situation thus handling issues from an emotional point of view. But both will get the situation handled, just differently. Before what is now being referred to as modern-day feminism, men were brought up to know that they were the fenders of their families, inclining them to be go-getters because there was no escape. Their women were taught to be obedient and submissive and not to question their man, placing the man on a pedestal. In recent times though with a good number of men running from these responsibilities. Women have had to step up and be primary fenders for their families. Some have even chosen to steer away from men completely. Proven that what a man can do, a woman can do. It is only unfair to the women given that most of the things on the continent are built to favour men and so a woman has to find a way of making it work for her.

Honestly, I say it depends on who you ask… this is a very basic question but it is also valid because many people still have a backward idea of what women are.
