Men are also born into norms that often find themselves following by default. And our sons are born into the same archaic socially disrupt societies that are often unfavorable to us women.
I often wonder, are we (women) cognizant of the fact that not all men have character traits of the other men we continuously shun and send hate through our unfiltered opinions and thoughts of who they have become in our individual eyes.
Yes, it is true we do have men who destroy our society by their actions but are we aware and sensitive in how we share our disapproval, taking note that when we say “men” we include all men not just the culprits.
Also in our movements such as feminism are we culturally sensitive in how we share our disapproval of how societies treat us and in our petitions for change are we aware of the impact it has on the innocent men who are innocently born into cultural norms that give them the idea and privileges of leading, speaking and taking up spaces differently from women?
