Ivory Trade: What’s in it for China in the long-run?

  • 2

The story of trophy hunting has been part of Kenya for the longest time, well-connected people are involved so investigations don’t really take off. We all know that most of the Ivory ends up in China, my question is: What will China do once the animals are all extinct and they have a demand that they can’t supply?

As long as we have Chinese roads across Africa, the ivory trade will continue… When their huge containers bring in raw materials, do you think they go back empty? 🙁
