I believe most straight people especially the elderly, tend not to let those who aren’t, be. They stuck on culture and all that, making them view lesbians, gays etc as a really wrong practice. We are in a century where we need to accept people as they are, given they are not affecting us in any way. African parents could go to an extent of disowning their children just because they are in love with someone of the same sex as they are. They don’t fancy them and barely accept them. The thought of living with it can give them a stroke. They think of how they will be viewed and judged by the community, not knowing they are also part and parcel of that same community.
Also, religion does not allow that kind of relationship and so those who are deep into religion ie. christianity, could never allow such an act to come from their own. The forbid it and rebuke it in all manners.
These are some of the reasons why members of LGBTQ are not left to love what they love in peace.

It isn’t easy for this to come to pass. Some Africans are stuck on tradition, which entails believing in traditional medicine, myths and misconceptions and also tribal rules. Hence, their way of thinking and approaching different situation is compromised by that as well. The westernized Africans are more civilized and reason out differently. Some even balance tradition with civilization. By this unity can’t be achieved easily because of the differences.
Also the differences in religion is getting hotter by the day. Some even insult other religions, in that they cannot associate with them. This is also a hindrance to unity thereby we can’t be independent. We also depend so much on the western countries for more than trade and aid. They have better equipment and resources than we do.
With these, how can we be united to achieve control of our continent??

    Biden’s victory brings hope for Africa, Kenya being part and parcel. We could point out a few such as;
    1. Restoration of the funding to the World Health Organization (WHO). As we all know, Trump had reduced the contributions made to the World Health Organization. Thereby putting disease management and control at risk. Biden can even increase the funding the WHO. He has even promised to cancel the US withdrawal from the United Nations(UN) agency that Trump had initiated during his reign.
    2. There will be a better platform altogether, for the African countries to prosper. For instance, Trump had removed and limited the free trade policies. Biden will be able to renew the policies. Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Kenya and USA will be renewed, thereby meaning free movement of goods and services between the countries. FTA cushions Kenya from uncertainties of African Growth and Opportunity Act(AGOA) extension. AGOA allows exporters from Africa and other developing countries, duty-free access to the US market. This benefits Kenya a great deal.
    3. The immigration reforms made by Biden could cushion the undocumented immigrants from Kenya living in the US. This means well for them.

We need to educate our children’s on this infertility matter so that they have an open mind about it when growing up. Infertility can be experienced by both genders. We tend to blame it on the women because of the belief in the societies. That it is always the woman who is barren. We don’t realize that even put men can be unable to impregnate a woman. It’s so sad how women get traumatized and sad when sometimes it’s their husbands who have low sperm count and therefore unable to impregnate them. When a couple is unable to have kids, both the partners should get checked before blaming the woman. That is so mythical and outdated in out current society. The world is changing and so should we. We can leave myths and misconceptions behind and start dealing with science and facts.

I’d want to talk about an artist from within my county, Kenya. The most relevant artist is Nyashinski. He is real and that’s what he brings to the table. He talks about our country as it is, with all the tribal clashes, corrupt leadership skills that are really developing. The way politicians promise without fulfilling and take advantage of the money meant for development. He has a way of passing a real message to his audience and it’s of real nature. He also motivates hustlers to keep doing what they do and that God will come through for them. That makes sense to me and hence him being the most relevant artist in Kenya.
Worldwide, I’d go for Juice Wrld. His music is amazing and he brings a real picture of life to us.
Relationship between people on the world is also in his music and it’s about time we dig deeper into the message he passes across in his songs. He motivates us to maintain a good relationship with people all over, judge less and give people chances to make us either learn from it or live by it. In life we either gain or lose. It depends on the path we choose.
Music affects our way of thinking depending on the artist we choose to listen to.

Gengetone music has its pros and cons.

On the good side, the young people doing this kind of music can be able to listen to music with a kind of language they prefer and understand best. Also, they get engaged in music and crime rates reduce though slightly. This kind of music hits majorly in Kenya due to the ” the sheng’ ” involved and how people actually relate to the music content in real life.
On the negative side, it portrays how women are meant to be submissive in the African society majorly. Quite a bad picture for this generation where we are trying to empower women.
This kind of music also has explicit content and harsh language that isn’t advised for younger kids to listen to. They’ll adapt and grow in it, knowing it’s no wrong. But in real sense it build some bad characters that can’t be avoided by kids of lesser age who just follow blindly.
But all in all, it’s kenyan music and promoting it is of great value to the music industry.

Because with age, comes maturity, which is an important aspect in a relationship. By 25 someone is expected to have experienced different kinds of people and will be able to have a clear view of someone just by a simple interaction.
