The things you have described are critical issues. Note though, marriage is choice … one to accept the other person regardless of the situation, indefinitely. That is the conventional model. However, say the other person tries to kill you, it would not make sense to stay in such a relationship for the sake of social labels. In my opinion, and experience, marriage is not for everyone. In fact, it is for the minority in the same way we can’t all be doctors, artists, engineers, priests, etc. These things, like marriage, are vocations and are CHOSEN. Now, marriage (sadly) is presumed to be the default avenue for any human being to follow. That’s why there are many divorces and dysfunctional relationships in the world. Many people who are married actually regret it but can’t say it. 1 Reply Share Share Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on WhatsApp Phanice Wamukota Nanyuki , Kenya 9 Questions 184 Answers 15 Best Answers 5,033 Points View Profile Phanice Wamukota East Africa Added an answer on November 12, 2018 at 1:06 pm Capitalize on the “empathy and commitment “. Look and feel good. Go out on a walk, watch the sun set together, look into each other’s eyes, like deep, smile to one another, hold hands, compliment each other, express gratitude to the partner for trying or achieving something, leave random hand written notes for whatever or no reason at all, just love them…. 1 Reply Share Share Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on WhatsApp Felix Mwantonga Lusaka, Zambia 2 Questions 23 Answers 2 Best Answers 965 Points View Profile Felix Mwantonga Southern Africa Added an answer on November 19, 2018 at 9:09 am Love has never been the glue to any relationship. Commitment is key. Love always fades away and that’s when you need to fall back to the things you like about that person. Love alone can not hold together any relationship: DO you have things in common, hobbies? Business? Children? These are more to relationships than feelings and emotions. We can not always depend on that. 0 Reply Share Share Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on WhatsApp Manser Thelua Kenya 9 Questions 138 Answers 2 Best Answers 4,212 Points View Profile Manser Thelua East Africa Added an answer on November 13, 2018 at 5:12 am Marriage without love is like a car without fuel.
