First of all I don’t believe there is anything like sexual addiction. Sex is in the mind. You decide whether or not to have sex

Sex is highly addictive just like masturbation or pornography.
As long as Dopamine is involved and the reward circuits are interrupted, addiction can happen based on almost anything.

sex like any other action has consequences, the only way we can control it is by involving social organisations like churches and schools though i cant promise we can totally curb it. its like tasting something sweet and then being forced to do away with it

How can the church help you with Sex Addiction when they are the first to judge and condemn fornication?

This is not a recent occurrence, Sex has always been a source of entertainment, pleasure and recreation. In ancient times, we even had live arenas where people would watch others (especially slaves) have sex among each other.
These “games” were sometimes linked with fights for the thrill. To add on to the entertainment, people were sometimes killed. It was largely accepted as normal.
In fact, what you see in the current days, are the best human beings have ever been with regards to “morality”. This is because of human rights and gender equity movements.

We once had Sex Education briefly touched during home-science classes. However, those were scrapped out of the curriculum. Sex Talk is almost a taboo so we are left with Porn, Media, Google and other unregulated sources. This creates a very messed up idea of Sex which affects the way we approach relationships.
