Revolution or Reform?

  • 3

I have been thinking about this for a long time. Kenyans are tired of poor leadership, corruption scandals and incompetent systems and as we say, punda amechoka. I believe that change is not too far off but how that change will come about is the question. Will it be through a Wanjiku revolution? Ousting of the powers that be? Or will it be through social reform?

Sadly, none. Reform has been tried unsuccessfully since independence while we are not mature enough for a revolution.

Maybe through social reforms. Sadly the system has grown stronger through buyout of the people who would have helped bring the change Wanjiku needs.

When people finally take back their power from leaders is when we will begin change.
