Donald J. Trump becomes America’s President elect set to be sworn in on January 20th, 2017, as Hillary Clinton just misses the mark to be first woman president of the New World, bringing an end to one of the most dramatic election campaigns in the history of USA.

As that transpires, we come back home this Saturday to engage on stereotypes society has created about women. Which ones have you heard and how have they affected you?
We feature readings from “Fifth Draft”; an anthology of poetry and prose from Lesleigh Kenya. Writers participating include Linda Musita, Mwende Ngao, Powell Omolo, and Mtheto Kadoko Hara. Mtheto shall be joining us online from Thailand.

Other writers in the anthology are Rayhab Gachango, Mwangi Gituro, Maimouna Jallow, Kelvin Kaesa, Euticus Aziz Mola and Atandi Anyona. The copies trade for 500/- and shall be available at the entrance for those interested to purchase.
