What do you think about tribal marks? Are they outmoded, inhumane or an infringement of the rights of people who are marked? Should it be totally scrapped? If yes, would that mean we would be losing our culture? Do tribal marks make us unique in any way? Do you have a tribal mark and how do you feel about it?

    It is not okay just because we have been doing it as part pf tradition. What value does it add to a person? If it is beauty, then we are telling all children that they need to change for them to look better in the eyes of other people. What happened to self-acceptance?
