Most people always champion (emphasise) on the need of becoming independent ie ladies saying I am an independent woman. So for this case, what’s independence in your understanding, is it good, and in what can you say that you’re so far independent in life?

Independence is a great thing but sometimes we take it to the extreme. I see how some leaders abuse independence by becoming dictators and no one can come in to stop them because they are “independent”. This idea of independence has seen war and human rights violations that would not have been allowed if we had a better concept of independence.

In a few views, I kinda think that Independence in some way is overrated. We can’t be independent on our own, we should rather champion for interdependence since they’re are somethings and people we can never be independent about.
