What does it mean when men say: ‘I love you but I am not ready for a relationship’?

  • 7

Most men are always ready to have sex but not open for a committed relationship. Some even pretend to be interested in a relationship just to get sex then change. Most friends with benefits arrangements are because of this and fear of commitment. What makes men love you and not want a relationship?

Is it that we bring up love too soon? If we don’t say anything, the man may never say anything too. It can take months or even years before the topic of love comes up… and if it is negative then that is time wasted.

I wish I could just know how long it take a man to say he love me so that I don’t get led on to a non existent relationship. Sometimes I feel like saying the saying i love you first myself but I hear this scares men away. Saying it during sex seems to have worked before but the man later said that he was under the pressure of pleasure. We should just wait for him to say i love you as women. 🙁 🙁 🙁

How do you tell if a guy likes you but doesn’t want a relationship? How long should you wait for a guy to say I love you? What does it mean when a guy says he doesn’t want a relationship right now and what to say when he says that?

This is not a gender issue, women also say this. It is a personal issue. You should try looking to youself.

Women say this more than men, they are just a little more heartless and tactical at it. Sometimes, they never say the actual words… which is even worse.

That’s his kind way of saying he doesn’t love you sis, just move on. I have been there, it’s not a good place to be. Hanging on and hoping things will be clearer to him. It only gets worse. ‘I love you but I am not ready for a relationship’ is the reddest a red light can ever be. Stop, turn around and run. Bonus tip: Whatever you do, don’t look back!

Sad but true… We say we love you but can’t do relationships because most women can not take no for an answer as easily as men do. So we let you feel like you are the one who cut us off when we are not interested. At least we have the empathy to own rejection for your sake and that one of the most frequent bullets men take.
