It is the other way round, African leaders are intentionally selling out Africa and China is just an available buyer.

We keep blaming China with regards to this issue. China is not taking over Africa, our leaders are the ones auctioning it away as we watch. There’s is nothing wrong china is doing that has not been approved by our leaders and governments.

There are signed contracts and agreements that have even been seen and given a go ahead by the very presidents. Should we still blame China? NO! They will come and take the Mombasa Port very soon because our leaders are worried about a legacy without considering long term effects of the actions they are taking today.

What is stopping us from taking action and stopping this from happening even after seeing countries like Sri Lanka fall victim to the Loan and Aid trap? Greed and Selfish interests. If our leaders really cared about the next generation they would not be planting their seeds in a land mine.

China is playing her cards very cunningly. She is only interested in protecting herself. She is absolutely not looking our for any of us. If only we could sober up.

I wouldn’t really call it ‘investment’ that would be a euphemism. Let’s call it what it is – neocolonialism.
