Why do people keep wanting more and more?

  • 3

I have noticed this especially in relationships that most people keep wanting more and more of the other persons time, energy, money, love or whatever it is that attracted them. Is this a normal thing and does anybody else find it weird that the people we love are the ones who are using us the most?

    It shouldn’t be normal, but it is happening. Relationships are a two-way adventure. If you find yourself in one where you are the only one giving and receiving nothing in return, then that partnership is bound to experience bumps for the obvious reasons unless the two of you sit down and talk. It is also important to understand your partner. There are five languages of love according to Dr. Gary Chapman;
    1. Words of affirmation.
    2. Gifts.
    3. Acts of service
    4. Quality time
    5.Physical touch.

    Maybe knowing your partner will help identify how they prefer to receive or express their love. Otherwise, not all relationships are bound to succeed. Ikikataa imekataa.
